DESCRIPTION:From their event page:  \nJoin Fairmount Park Conservancy and musician Luke Carlos O’Reilly as we celebrate summer with a series of free family-friendly concerts in West Fairmount Park. \nGather with friends and family for an evening full of live jazz music\, kid-friendly activity stations\, and local food trucks – all set under the shaded canopy of the Parkside Edge*. \nOn each date\, there will be three 30-45 minute performances\, starting with MIC’d Up – a community-based initiative that connects Philadelphia DJs\, producers\, and musicians with School District students – followed by a rotating set of jazz artists (see below for full details). Please bring a lawn chair and/or blanket. \n*Parkside Edge is located along Parkside Avenue\, in between East and West Memorial Drives. It is also the site of the new Parkside Pop-Up Play Space\, an all-ages play space developed by Fairmount Park Conservancy in partnership with Tiny WPA.
