DESCRIPTION:From their event page:  \nJoin the Friends of the Rail Park and We Walk PHL for a special guided tour of the Rail Park’s past\, present and future\, and learn more about the We Walk PHL program. \nThe Friends of the Rail Park are transforming a historic railway into three miles of linear park and pathway\, enriching the health\, culture\, and ecology of Philadelphia and building a bold\, transformative\, and inclusive public space that connects residents and visitors to the city and each other. \nWe Walk PHL is a program in partnership between Fairmount Park Conservancy\, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health\, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation that offers free weekly walking groups at various public parks throughout the city. This program welcomes people of all ages and abilities looking to meet their neighbors and improve their physical and mental health.
