DESCRIPTION:Join the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) as we commemorate the legacy of Juneteenth and celebrate our 50th anniversary as one of the first institutions funded and built by a major municipality to preserve\, interpret\, and exhibit the heritage of African Americans. In partnership with Wawa Welcome America\, AAMP will host an all-day\, family-friendly outdoor festival led by our mistress of ceremonies\, Philadelphia’s own Patty Jackson from iHeart Radio and WDAS-FM. There will be live entertainment\, activations\, games\, and education for everyone to enjoy!
