SUMMARY:Northwest Night Rides
DESCRIPTION:Northwest Night Rides are social group bike rides focused in and around Northwest Philadelphia.  We meet every other Wednesday at 7:00 pm and usually end at a bar\, brewery\, or restaurant.  Anyone is welcome to join – living in Northwest Philly is not a requirement!  Given the geography\, most rides involve hills\, but we don’t leave anyone behind.  Please check our Instagram page for ride details.

DESCRIPTION:From their event page:  \nJoin Fairmount Park Conservancy for a guided 4.5-mile hike to learn about the Trolley Trail’s fascinating past and present. The Fairmount Park Trolley operated in East and West Park from 1896 to 1946\, providing a reliable and enjoyable means of accessing park amenities. Explore the physical remains of what is now a hidden trolley network\, including massive stone tunnels and bridge abutments along this loop hike. \nMore about the Trolley Trail: Fairmount Park Conservancy\, along with partners at Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Belmont Plateau Trails Alliance\, have been working to develop the Trolley Trail – a scenic multi-purpose trail that loosely follows the path of the former Fairmount Park Trolley. New gateways\, trail signage\, and bike racks were recently added\, and a ribbon-cutting was held in November 2023. Read more here.

Participants journey through a powerful\, relatable story that mirrors real-life challenges\, growth\, and breakthroughs. Each posture\, breath\, and pause represents a moment in the narrative\, helping people release emotion\, build awareness\, and connect deeply with themselves and the group. \nThis program will take place behind the Boxers’ Trail Gateway in East Fairmount Park\, located at the corner of 33rd Street and West Dauphin Drive. \nWe Walk PHL and Yogi Den will be leading a Story Flow Walk before yoga from 9-9:45 AM.
