DESCRIPTION:From their event page: \nExperience the magic of the holiday season at Winter in Franklin Square presented by Citizens\, featuring the Electrical Spectacle Light Show presented by PECO from November 21 through February 23\, a spectacular light show that drapes 50\,000 twinkling lights across the park’s fountain and connects to a 12-foot tall kite\, in an ode to Benjamin Franklin’s famous experiment. Every half hour\, an alternate light show plays to the sounds of holiday classics. \nNew this year\, Winter in Franklin Square features new songs in the Electrical Spectacle Light Show; outdoor fire pits and beautiful indoor heated tents with adult and hot beverages and seasonal food at Franklin’s Winter View; and Center City’s only miniature golf course both daytime and evenings transformed into Chilly Philly Mini Golf presented by IBEW Local 98.

These conversations help guide how we approach growth with care and accountability while exploring how we can amplify work being done within our communities and what connections we can make to further their causes. \nThe discussion will explore how the Rail Park can support economic opportunity\, housing\, culture\, and the environment\, centering the experiences and priorities of people who live and work nearby. \nA project of this scale should not grow or change without the voices of the communities it runs through and alongside.
