DESCRIPTION:About the Ride:\nThe ride will be a slow-paced bicycle group ride involving  \n\n• Bird watching with The Discovery Center \n\n\n• A historical  tour of East Fairmount Park \n\nThe ride will be a 3.0-mile loop exploring East Fairmount Park and The Discovery Center (TDC). Participants will have the opportunity to explore the park’s historical landmarks and green spaces. Participants will receive binoculars to observe local and migrating birds in the park. We may see hawks and eagles. GO Birds!! This event is in partnership with Audubon Mid-Atlantic\, which uses the Discovery Center as a facility for research and science-based conservation projects and educational programs throughout the Philadelphia region. Audubon engages individuals and communities by offering the resources and tools necessary to analyze\, preserve\, and restore our natural environment. \nThis is a great opportunity to meet other beginner bikers and bird enthusiasts.
