MBKCares is excited to launch Healthy Happy Hour, a new signature community event during Mental Health Awareness Month (May 2026). Experience an evening of wellness, creativity, and connection—without alcohol or smoking—including relaxing mini-massages, hands-on activities, interactive wellness stations, and opportunities to meet local wellness experts.

About the Event

Healthy Happy Hour is designed as a social mixer and interactive resource fair to:

• Promote mental health, emotional well-being, and self-regulation through joyful, hands-on experiences
• Offer healthy alternatives to traditional happy hours
• Encourage intergenerational engagement and community connection

Guests can explore interactive wellness stations, including:

• Relax & Recharge: Mini-massages and guided stress-relief techniques
• Colors of the Wind: Painting, sand art, and creative expression activities
• A Way With Words: Guided poetry, journaling prompts, and reflective writing exercises
• Tea Time: Tea and calming herb demonstrations for grounding and wellness
• Better Eating: Healthy cooking demonstrations with small tasting samples
• CHAOS: Decluttering and organizing strategies to support mental clarity
• Listen to Your Body: Mindful movement, yoga, and guided breathing exercises
• Younger Days Ahead: Youth-focused engagement led by a peer specialist (optional participation)
