Indego Bike Share and theBetter Bike Share Partnership are once again awarding a limited number of mini-grants to support community-based organizations this summer, from July through August 2022. This year, organizations can request up to $1,000 in funding.
In the past few weeks, there have been some exciting staffing updates relating to bike share in Philadelphia! Indego is delighted to introduce you to the newest members of our collective community engagement and educational programming team. While these folks may be new to bike share, each member brings with them an immensely diverse background of professional experience and passion for empowering others around them. Bicycle Transit Systems, the City of Philadelphia, and Independence Blue Cross (Independence) are excited to announce the renewal of Independence’s title sponsorship of the Indego bike share system through 2030.

It is an honor for Independence to renew our title sponsorship of the Indego bike share system,” said Gregory E. Deavens, Independence Blue Cross president and CEO. “We look forward to Indego’s continued success in advancing an equitable, healthy transportation option for residents and visitors in Philadelphia.”
