Juneteenth Group Ride
June 16 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The ride will be a slow-paced bicycle group ride beginning and ending at the 48th and Spruce St. station located in the West Philly section of Philadelphia. The ride will be a 2-mile loop exploring local black-owned organizations, and businesses, and celebrating Juneteenth in West Philly. We will stop for an informational session with speakers from The Enterprise Center about the rich and deep history of 52nd Street and end back at the Indego Station.
Every ride is led by a trained staff member of the Bicycle Coalition and all participants are expected to follow the Rules of the Road.
This ride will be beginner-friendly and at a leisurely pace
We will be riding with motorists
Helmets will be provided for Indego riders
You must be 16 to ride an Electric-Indego Bike
Please let ride leaders know about any medical conditions.
Indego riders should plan to stay with the group for the entire ride.
*Height Restrictions: The bikes we use for the class are recommended for 5’2″ and up. Please let us know if you’d like to come out with your own bike.
