About the Ride: 

Join Indego, Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia (BCGP), and the 12th Philadelphia Police District for a Pedal for Peace Group Ride in Southwest Philadelphia.  

Our goal is to create unity and address the gun violence in our city through a community-led bike ride. This beginner-friendly ride promotes public safety and community connection while highlighting local neighborhood hubs throughout West and Southwest Philadelphia. The ride will be escorted by the Philadelphia Police Department to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Please note: This ride will roll out at 9 AM, please plan to arrive between 8:15 and 8:30 AM.

Ride Details: 

• •This ride is beginner-friendly and will move at a leisurely pace.
• •All Indego bikes used during this ride will be Indego Electric bikes 
• •Participants must be at least 16 or older to ride an Indego Electric bike. A parent or guardian must accompany all minors. No exceptions. 
• •Free helmets, snacks, water, and swag will be provided for registered participants.
• •All rides are led by trained staff from the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, and participants are expected to follow the Rules of the Road.
• •All participants should be able to confidently ride a bicycle for the duration of the group ride.

Registration & Important Info: 

• •Please let ride leaders know about any medical conditions prior to the ride.
• •Indego riders should plan to stay with the group for the entire ride.
• •Height Restriction: Indego bikes are recommended for riders 5’2″ and taller. Ifyou’dlike to participate using your own bike, please let us know.
