Join us on the first group ride in Bike Month with Wednesday Night Rides! This will be a slow-paced group ride beginning and ending at the Philadelphia Museum of Art at the bottom of the Rocky Steps. The ride will officially start at 7 P.M. There are options to ride to the Art Museum with a group starting at 6 P.M. from either 38th & Spring Garden or Spring Garen & Broad St. (registration links below.) The group ride will be a 10.5-mile loop exploring West and East Fairmount Park. Registered participants will have the opportunity to ride an Indego electric bike. All minors must be accompanied by a guardian or parent. No exceptions. 

Every ride is led by a trained staff member of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and all participants are expected to follow the rules of the road. Some more details: 

• -This ride will be beginner-friendly and at a leisurely pace
• -Helmets will be provided for registered Indego riders
• -Snacks, Water, and Swag items will be provided
• -You must be 14 or older to ride an Indego bike and 16 or older to ride an Indego electric bike
• -All registered participants must confidently demonstrate how to ride a bicycle for this group ride
• -Please let ride leaders know about any medical conditions
• -Indego riders should plan to stay with the group for the entire ride

*Height Restrictions: The bikes we use for the class are recommended for 5’2″ and up. Please let us know if you’d like to come out with your own bike.

Inclement Weather Policy:

Please note, that several weather-related factors may cause a class/ride to be rescheduled within 24-48 hours. These include: 

1. Excessive Heat: If there is a forecast for a heat wave or excessive heat during the event ride or class time 
2. Rain/Hail: If there is a 50% or more chance of rain forecasted before the scheduled class or ride event time 
3. Air Quality: If the quality of air is RED (150 or higher, air particle index) during the event ride or class time
