The Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) is an effort led by the City of Philadelphia that works to ensure that Indego is accessible to all Philadelphians. Are you excited for Spring riding, but nervous about riding Indego on city streets?

Indego partners with the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia to provide safety classes and learning opportunities for current and future Indego riders. We offer classes for all different levels of cyclists. You do not have to be a passholder to participate!

Last year, we were able to provide educational classes about biking at community centers, schools, parks, and more. We watched riders take their first pedal stroke in 20 years on an Indego bike, gain confidence navigating Philly streets, and grow into amazing riders!

This year, we’re excited to expand our educational offerings through the Bicycle Coalition to include free monthly Learn to Ride AND Indego Street Skills Classes, open to the public (but please RSVP!).

Note that Indego Adult Learn to Ride is appropriate for someone who does not know how to ride a bike – it starts from the very beginning with balancing and pedaling. Indego Street Skills is a classroom-based class that goes through everything you need to know to ride on city streets. There will also be an opportunity to test ride an Indego bike at the end of the class.

All these classes are totally free and offered on a monthly basis! See below for all the details and to RSVP. We hope to see you there!
