Don’t know if this is the correct area to post this.
I attended the Indego Ambassador Biking & Fun Day at Bartram’s Garden yesterday. I was a part of the 10:30 Group Ride 1. I haven’t ridden in a couple of years, however, getting back on and pedaling off was a breeze. We went down one path and on our return I began to feel the heat of the day overtake my body, I decided not to continue on and sat in my car. Feeling a tad better I ventured to the tent area, unable to stand, due to heat exhaustion, I was offered a seat and luckily there was an African American angel there named “Stephanie” who saw my plight and tended to me, She brought me water, applied ice to the essential areas of my body. Ensure I was well recovered before leaving.
I don’t know how this individual could be commended, but she needs to be, she saw a situation and took charge. Her care and attention to my plight was truly and greatly appreciated.
