Independence Blue Cross Renews Indego Sponsorship Through 2030

Bicycle Transit Systems, the City of Philadelphia, and Independence Blue Cross (Independence) are excited to announce the renewal of Independence’s title sponsorship of the Indego bike share system through 2030.

“We are proud of Indego’s inclusive approach to station expansion, targeting diverse and historically underserved communities. It is an honor for Independence to renew our title sponsorship of the Indego bike share system,” said Gregory E. Deavens, Independence Blue Cross president and CEO. “We look forward to Indego’s continued success in advancing an equitable, healthy transportation option for residents and visitors in Philadelphia.”

Indego Pricing and Pass Updates

On April 20th, Indego will be making a few important updates to our pass options and pricing. The updates you see below will support the continued growth of Philly’s bike share program. Indego will continue to provide savings opportunities to Passholders who make Indego part of their daily routine and to keep prices low for Philadelphians with a PA ACCESS card.

Your Guide to Indego’s 2022 Programming

Spring is around the corner and so are our Better Bike Share Partnership free bicycle education classes and rides, hosted by Indego. This year we’re offering in-person Urban Riding Basic Classes, Learn to Ride Classes, and Featured Group Rides beginning in April and ending in October. We will be highlighting the Indego expansion locations, local green spaces, and communities that have deep roots in Philly. Keep reading to learn more about each type of class or ride and how you can participate!
